This dicentra truly lives up to its macabre name! Its heart-shaped, 1" blooms, which grow together in clusters, resemble droplets of blood hanging from this perennial's slender stems. These crimson flowers are set off nicely by the plant's light green, fernlike foliage and last for months. Use Bacchanal in a rock garden, at the edge of a grove or in any other shady spot in your landscape. Also excellent in a container.
