Perfect as a ground cover, this prolific bloomer with a creeping habit starts producing dramatic, richly hued flowers in late spring and continues through mid fall. The masses of violet-blue, 1" blooms that resemble small snapdragons are nicely set off by the well-branched, densely packed, light green foliage. This showy prunella attracts beneficial pollinators, but repels deer and rabbits. Also an excellent addition to a mixed perennial border or container garden. Deadhead spent flowers to prevent self-seeding.
