Deep pink-red blooms with a lavender haze and golden centres give this woody peony real punch. The ample 6–7" flowers are lightly scented and open right at the branch tips. Use Black Dragon as a bold specimen planting, massed in borders or near a walkway where its rich tones can really stand out.
