Its soft violet-blue, double flowers measure 1¼" in diameter and feature distinctive, dark veins. The bloom centres have a touch of greenish white that provides dramatic contrast. This long-lasting, low-maintenance ground cover blooms consistently all summer atop grey-green clumps of delicately cut foliage. A sparse rebloom may occur if plants are cut back hard after flowering. Summer Skies is gorgeous in a border of mixed perennials or a container garden. Attracts butterflies; resists drought.
