Lesser known than some of its close cousins, this longlived variety has strikingly coloured blooms with lovely, heart-shaped petals. Plentiful, 2" cups of violet accented with dark veining, cover finely incised foliage, not only creating beautiful displays in borders, beds or rock gardens, but also attracting beneficial butterflies to the space. This hardy geranium grows from a tuber, so while considered a bulb, it returns year after year like a perennial.
